Tuggeranong Masters shine at 2026 MSA National Championships in Brisbane

Tuggeranong Masters delivered an exceptional performance at the 2026 MSA National Masters Swimming Championships in Brisbane from 28 April to 3 May 2026 , capping off a week of intense competition with standout results across the board.

More than 800 swimmers from around Australia took part in the championships, ranging from former national representatives to firsttime competitors and inspiring athletes in their 80s and 90s. The atmosphere throughout the week was a celebration of both high performance racing and the inclusive spirit of Masters swimming.

On Sunday, 7 December 2025, many members came together to celebrate the club’s successful year at the Vikings Club, Erindale. The club recognised the achievements of members in the annual presentation awards and celebrated the night in festive attire, with a Kris Kringle gift being an enjoyable highlight. Amazing achievements at the 2025 Australian Masters Games, Canberra

The Australian Masters Games are held every two years, and this edition saw swimmers from around the country heading to Canberra for two days of competition at the Australian Insitute of Sport (AIS) pool. The event was held in short course format on 24-25 October 2025. Tuggeranong Masters fielded a large team of 36 swimmers over the two days at the AIS. From first-time racers to seasoned competitors our swimmers took advantage of being able to race in our home city.

Vikings shine at the 2025 MSNSW State SC Championships

A team of 13 Viking swimmers travelled to Woy Woy on the Central Coast of NSW to participate in the 2025 MSNSW State Short Course Championships on 11-12 October. The Vikings had an enjoyable swim meet, and even though our team was small compared to many of the Sydney clubs, we did our club proud with some top-notch results and shiny medals with ribbons to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Masters Swimming Australia.

Tuggeranong Masters was proudly represented at the Ryde BPS Meet on Saturday, 26 July 2025, with Ann Reid as the sole dedicated swimmer flying the club colours. Ann was awarded the Female BPS Meet Champion for the closest to nominated time in the 200m Freestyle.
