Ann celebrating being named the Female BPS Meet Champion

Tuggeranong Masters was proudly represented at the Ryde BPS Meet on Saturday, 26 July 2025, with Ann Reid as the sole dedicated swimmer flying the club colours. Competing in four events, she achieved an impressive record, including two second-place finishes, a third-place finish, and a fourth-place finish. In a strong field of 10 swimmers in her age group, Ann secured an overall fourth-place ranking.

While her times on the day were solid rather than personal bests, the 200m Freestyle came close to matching Ann’s previous personal record, with the swim earning her the Female BPS Meet Champion award for being closest to the nominated time in the event - a fantastic result and a well-deserved recognition.

As in previous years, Warringah Masters dominated the meet, continuing their winning streak that has remained unbroken since around 2014.

In addition to competing, Ann also stepped up at short notice to assist as an official — proudly debuting her brand-new MSNSW Officials shirt.
