Since most of the Masters swim meets are held in or around Sydney it is not always easy for our members to participate regularly, but if you are interested in entering any of the Masters swim meets, the information and meet flyers can be found on the NSW Masters Swimming website via the Competition menu.
For our local ACT Interclub Meets, members should email their race entries/times to our race secretary, Leisa Cass, or phone her with questions they may have. Entry fees are paid on the day. Information will be circulated to all club members about these meets and entry deadlines.
NSW Masters Swimming has Branch Point Score BPS Meets occurring regularly throughout the year, as well as other State Championship Meets. There are also MSA National Championships held each year in April. All NSW and National entries should be done online by members directly.
It’s great to have members venturing out of Canberra and competing and earning the club points. We wish each of them all the best and hope they swim some pleasing times along with having lots of fun!!
Our club specifically targets certain swim meets during the year in order to encourage members to take part and endeavour to get a good club representation at these meets (especially the Championship meets including relays). Our Club Captain, Kylie Lane, will email members to let them know which upcoming meets will be targeted.
