Report by Anne Smyth
We had a strong team of five swimmers representing Vikings at the Manly BPS Meet held at Abbotsleigh Pool in Sydney on Sunday 19 August 2012. The team included Richard Flockart, David Bale, Caroline Makin, Philippa Rickard and Anne Smyth.
The team performed well finishing in 9th place overall in the Point Score, and were pretty happy with their swims with some impressive PB’s swum by a few, despite some rather excessive partying the night before! Anne was feeling the effects after catching up with friends and Caroline and Philippa had a big night celebrating Philippa’s imminent return to the UK and Caroline’s husband’s Scott’s birthday!
