A trio of female Vikings – Brenda Day, Ann Reid and Caroline Makin – headed to the Central Coast, NSW for the Ettalong Pelicans BPS Meet (SC) at Woy Woy on 5 May 2012. This pool at Woy Woy is good and the event is always well organised, although it is a bit of a longer trek than the central Sydney meets, but worthwhile. We had some good swims from the three ladies, and Brenda’s sister and Caroline’s husband were there to cheer the trio on!
Brenda Day … 2nd 200m Backstroke, 2nd 50m Backstroke, 3rd 100m Freestyle, 2nd 50m Freestyle. 4th overall in her age group.
Ann Reid … 1st 200m Butterfly, 5th 100m Freestyle, 6th 50m Freestyle, 5th 100m IM. 8th overall in her age group.
Caroline Makin … 2nd 50m Backstroke, 3rd 100m Freestyle, 4th 25m Butterfly, 2nd 100m Breaststroke. Joint 3rd overall in her age group.
