Meet report by Caroline Makin
Solo Viking, Caroline Makin took part in the Manly BPS Meet on Sunday 21 August 2011 at Abbotsleigh School 25m Indoor Pool in Wahroonga, Sydney.
Caroline swam in three events: 200m Freestyle, 100m Individual Medley, 50m Backstroke in the 40-44 age group, bringing home 30 points for the club with overall first place.
Caroline’s results were as follows:
200m Freestyle – 2:40.28 – first place from four in age group, touching just ahead of her closest competitor in the same heat by a mere 1.01 seconds!
50m Backstroke – 39.84 – first place from two in age group
100m Individual Medley – 1:25.21 – first place from three in age group
