The second ACT Interclub Duel Meet with Molonglo Water Dragons took place on Sunday 25 July at Tuggeranong Lakeside Leisure Centre. The program of events included 200m Choice, 100 Individual Medley, 50m Butterfly, 50m Backstroke, 50m Freestyle and a men’s and a women’s 4×25 Freestyle Relay.
Vikings had a total of 16 competitors swimming on the day and the competition between the two clubs was in the good spirit of competition and camaraderie that has become the signature of these meets. These meets are good fun and are swum in a great spirit. They would not take place without the solid input of our regular officials and family members who step in and help provide the essential backbone of a successful swim meet. A good number of competitors and family members went on to dinner afterwards at the Tuggeranong Town Centre Vikings Club.
