The dynamic duo of Ann Reid and Brenda Day represented our club on 15 May 2010 at the BPS Round 5 Ettalong Pelicans Meet in Woy Woy, securing 71 club points for the Vikings. Imagine how many points we could achieve if we had more of our mighty Vikings team members competing! Both ladies swam four individual events, and their results were as follows:
Ann Reid: 200m Butterfly – 1st, 100m Butterfly – 1st, 50m Freestyle – 3rd, 100m IM – 3rd … Ann was placed joint 5th on overall points in her age group.
Brenda Day: 200m Backstroke – 1st, 50m Backstroke – 2nd, 100m Freestyle – 1st, 100m Backstroke … Brenda achieved an impressive joint 3rd place on points in her age group out of a field of 17 competitors.
